Handcrafted FOF "Chef" full tang high carbon alloy kitchen knife
Chef, 8 3/8" blade, 2 1/4" tall, 13 1/4" overall, 1/8" thick 52100 high carbon alloy. FOF black micarta with grey base and hydrofit pins. Designed as your main kitchen companion for doing the grunt of food prep and cutting.
The corrosion resistance and high hardness make 52100 a great choice for cutlery. It's trickier to heat treat than a simple high carbon steel but the results are well worth the extra effort. A simple hand wash and dry with a little food safe silicon or cooking spray will keep the blade fresh for years to come. I can create any color handle you would like.
